Position Description

The Business Development & Marketing Internship offers a unique opportunity to work with a small team on 2 different projects. 

The first helps to bring healthy gourmet food into the homes of Singaporeans and UK to reduce food waste, and shift their consumption to improve quality of life, protect the environment, and promote healthy eating.

The second project involves the training of graduates from the top universities in Indonesia to prepare them for the new economy. Working with a professional team of business leaders, this role will key in the development of courses and engagements with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Business Development & Marketing Intern will have the unique opportunity to help shape the marketing strategies of these 2 projects and develope new program areas and campaigns and be exposed to a higher level of responsibility than at a typical organization, taking ownership of investors outreach and development. 

The candidate  will help with outreach and business development duties as assigned, which will include:

• Researching and identifying potential partnerships
• Reaching out to current partners and developing new opportunities
• Helping to shape the marketing strategy of new program areas
• Reporting to the management team and recommend improvements and suggestions to bring the projects to life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Business Development & Marketing Internship will possess:

• A background in business
• Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects
• Excellent research skills
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Coursework reflecting interest in and knowledge of the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability / HR developments
• A positive and flexible attitude.
• Important: candidate must be able to communicate in English and Mandarin or Bahasa Malay

Interns must be able to commit to at least 6 months, and preferably longer.
