We're looking for a Data Analyst Intern who can minimally commit around 6 months at the beginning of 2023, offering the flexibility of a part-time/full-time combined arrangement across this internship period.

About the Role:
This internship will play an important role as you will work as part of the data team in many different projects and initiatives. In the central data team we cover the full range of big data analytics, from data engineering, analysis and data science. We also work with all stakeholders, from finance, marketing, sales, operations and product. Your role will be to work with and support the team on our roadmap projects and even take on your own projects with the focus of working with stakeholders to drive insights through analytics
Our team works with a range of data tools and solutions, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Airflow, Jenkins, Looker, Chartio, Tableau and more. Our focus is on cloud and open source technology where possible, so a passion to learn in these areas or any previous experience would be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Analyse our data to generate insights and recommendations through the use of effective data analysis and visualizations.
- Understanding the data needs of internal stakeholders and supporting them with relevant ad-hoc analysis and reports.
- Building new analytical tables and if possible assist in developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Investigate potential data issues or business related problems.
- Assist in developing and organizing our data knowledge repository.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with statistical analysis.
- Good inclination towards software programming and adaptable with scripting languages such as Python (if possible).
- Be able to analyse business problems with a good investigative approach and is comfortable in querying datasets to pinpoint relevant insights.
- Passionate about deriving important insights from data to be able to make better business decisions.
- Proactive and independent, with clear communication skills in delivering insights.
