Weld River – Games Content Writer Intern

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research gaming trends and dedicate time to play games that are relevant to our audience
• Work with the team in planning weekly editorial calendars
• Write recommendations, beginner guides, and opinion pieces on chosen games and the gaming industry
• Work with the team to produce content for Reboot Reload’s Twitch and YouTube channels
• Manage user relations for all of Weld River’s businesses

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Plays games on multiple platforms (mobile, console, PC, tabletop etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce content tailored to casual gamers
• Personable, enthusiastic, patient, and willing to go above and beyond for our readers
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to new business needs
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of using WordPress’ CMS
  • Follows competitive E-sports and/or Twitch streamers
