Werms.Inc is an insect farm that upcycles food waste into insect protein for the pet feed industry and fertiliser for plant hobbyists. We provide live pet feed and conduct frequent workshops/events to educate consumers on our food waste situation and the sustainable use of insects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Client onboarding via B2B and B2C outreach- Prospect clients to secure new partnerships and sales generation- Increase brand awareness and customer base- Campaigning and pitching concepts, ideas and deals to clients- Deal flow generation- Development and support of organization's strategic objectives and work plan goals- Project development and event execution- Contract and proposal drafting
Learning Outcomes & Objectives
At the end of the internship, the candidate should be able to- Gain the ability to run an effective edm campaign independently- Achieve good copywriting skills- Understand the intricacies of operations and supply chain with sales and marketing- Gain the capability and confidence to pitch and close
Requirements
Due to the startup's fast pace and lean operations, the attached intern is required to be versatile and adaptable across multiple roles included in business development.- Experience in BD campaigns- Fluent in written English with the ability to articulate the campaign's objectives into words- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment- Independent worker with positive work ethics and attitude
