Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for finance and accounting? Our company is seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support initiatives such as financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including collecting and analysing data and preparing reports.

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance filings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial initiatives align with business objectives.

  • Assist with accounting tasks such as data entry, maintaining records, and preparing reports.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting and finance trends and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
