Our algorithms enable us to create optimized & stacked delivery routes, significantly reducing cost per delivery. We deliver hawker food island-wide for lunch and dinner, with no minimum order and a low delivery fee of $1.50. We have partnered with over 2500 hawker stalls in Singapore, some of our partners include the famous stalls like Outram Park Fried Kway Teow, Ji Ji Wanton Noodle, Tai Hwa Pork Noodle, Han Kee Fish Soup and many more. We have a passionate and efficient team who will ensure you get your favourite hawker food at your doorstep and all together avoid the effort of queuing up and chope-ing at hawker centres. 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Expand WhyQ's business by meeting hawkers/food vendors and getting them onboard with WhyQ
• Manage ad-hoc projects and new revenue verticals that the Business Development Team is working on
• Identify and negotiate with new potential hawker/food vendor stalls to partner with
• Renegotiate agreements with existing hawker/food vendor partners to strengthen relationships
• Research and recommend new target markets for expansion
• Work with customer service representatives to manage issues faced during daily operations

 

Requirements:

• Keen on joining a startup
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, positive, willing to learn and takes initiative to get things done
• Interest in pursuing a Business Development role or prior Business Development / Sales experience
• Bonus: Ability to speak Chinese or dialects, prior experience in F&B, client-facing roles or managing relations with external stakeholders 

We are looking for individuals who are available to join us on a full-time internship, OR are able to commit at least 3-4 days a week. 

Working Hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm. At least 3-4 days per week (salary will be pro-rated based on number of days / hours worked)
