WhyQ Pte Ltd – Business Development Executive #SGUTraineeship

Traineeship Description:

Business Development Executives at WhyQ manage the core of our business - our hawker partner relationships. Working with the team of BD Executives/ BD Manager and reporting to the Head of Business Development and Partnerships, the candidate will be working to service our merchant partners so that they can be successful on our platform.

Main Responsibilities: 

1. Expand WhyQ's business by meeting hawkers & micro-F&B owners and getting them onboard with our products and services

2. Building a strong working relationship with hawkers and micro-F&B business owners to service their requests in order to be successful on our platform

3. Research and recommend new areas of opportunities to digitize hawkers and micro-F&B business owners

4. Work with customer service representatives to manage issues faced during daily operations

5. Participate in ad-hoc projects that the Business Development Team is working on

6. Shadow, assist full-time BD team members in their sales calls for our new product launches

1. Active participation in strategic planning process and contribute to our brainstorming sessions

2. Lead important projects that are essential in growing new business verticals

3. Improve in communication skills as there are frequent communications needed with the vendors and hawker partners

4. Develop confidence in solutions selling 

Preferred Education Qualifications Required:

Degree (2021 graduate) 

Duration of Traineeship:

• 6 months.
• Trainees who perform satisfactorily may be considered for a full-time position at the end of the traineeship, subject to business requirements.
