Wild Honey – Barista

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, smoothies and cocktails according to company recipes and standards.
2. Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following proper preparation techniques and recipes.
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and serving areas regularly.
5. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and employees.
6. Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing ingredients, restocking supplies, and cleaning equipment and facilities.
7. Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Wild Honey.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred but not essential.
2. Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages, including brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and milk steaming.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
5. Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
6. Food handling and safety certification preferred.
