Job Description
  • Respect job duties assigned during shift
  • Exercise complete understanding of orders from Manager On Duty
  • Listen and understand Manager On duty’s recommendations and corrections
  • Exercise personal hygiene through clean uniforms and grooming
  • Minimized wastage of goods through good practice of First In First Out
  • Follow the cleaning charts to ensure cleaning and maintenance are done accordingly
  • Have complete knowledge of all table numbers in the dining area
  • Maintain awareness of any items not available in the menu
  • Greet and provide service to guests in a friendly, efficient and polite manner
  • Escort guests to a table when there is no hostess available
  • Able to answer all questions on menu selections accurately and offer suggestions
  • Able to make short, polite conversation with guests when appropriate
  • Collect payment from guests
  • Thank guests when they leave their table at the end of their meal
  • Establish good working relations with team members

Qualifications

This position is concerned with the courteous and prompt manner of providing service to guests according to Standard Operating Procedure and cleanliness of the restaurant
