Wilhelmsen Ships Service (S) Pte Ltd – 3DP Digital Operations Intern

Wilhelmsen Ships Service is seeking a digital solutions and operations savvy intern to be part of growing our 3D printing venture. 3D printing is poised to enhance supply chains for spare parts in maritime, and the intern will be scouting and working on digital solutions that will value-add end-to-end processes. There will also be opportunities to work with international and local stakeholders to establish and run unique supply chains for 3D printed parts to be delivered to our customers’ vessels worldwide. This internship matches you, if you have the aspiration to become a Digital Solutions or Supply Chain professional.

The Intern will have the opportunity to gain invaluable, hands-on experience in establishing digital solutions for a dynamic operations environment, collaborating with various global teams in different functional areas, as well as designing digital processes suited to customers in the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map process flows
• Seek out digital opportunities and propose enhancements
• Facilitate setup of digital platforms
• Hands on handling of daily operations procedures
• Support the setup of worldwide delivery channels with external partners

Our Requirements:

• Must be proficient in MS office applications
• Preferably some experience in 3D printing and supply chain solutions
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, production planning, and forecasting
• Must work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and well organized
