KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The company is seeking a resourceful and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst Intern who will be part of the Global IT Risk and Security Management team.
The intern will assist in producing reports, conducting research, analysing logs, developing documentation and solutioning complex Cybersecurity scenarios and requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND COVERAGE:
Operate as a member of the global IT Risk and Security Management team, the daily tasks include but not limited to:
- Assist in the roll out of global security tools such as EDR, PAM, UEM
- Review and analyse security logs to identify false positives
- Preparing reports on identified security vulnerabilities and possible recommendations to remediate the vulnerabilities
- Assist in working with various stakeholders to optimize security configurations and settings
- Document standard operating procedures
- Document security architecture diagram
- Assist in performing security compliance assessment
- Review, update and create security policies, standards and procedures
- Work with global teams to remediate and mitigate security vulnerabilities
- Assist with developing, managing and executing security training and awareness program
- Participate in security team meetings and assist with recording of minutes of meeting
- Assist with executing user access attestation
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Be pursuing a recognized Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity discipline
- Able to work as part of a team, and at the same time being an independent self-starter
- Have a strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Commands excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work well in a global multi-culture team
- Ability to multitask
