Active in Singapore, Indonesia, and Cambodia, we act to protect the environment, improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions, upskill children and youth, and support better lives for migrant workers. In Singapore, we focus on addressing environmental and migrant worker issues, through behaviour change, capacity building, and research.

Job Description

Interns can determine, together with the organisation, which of the following projects to undertake:

  • Create content on WISE’s projects and causes for our website and social media. 
  • Improve systems and processes to engage volunteers, such as the volunteer status form. 
  • Organise online sharing sessions for the WISE family. 
  • Create content for WISE’s website, social media, and newsletter. 
  • Design a corporate video. 
  • Create and maintain a system for tracking the status of volunteers. 
  • Setup and run an internal mentoring program between younger and more experienced team members. 
  • Organise internal online sharing sessions for team members to learn from each other and socialise.

As this internship is funded under NYC Asia-Ready Exposure Programme (AEP), applicants must be:

  • a Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident (PR),
  • aged 15 to 35 years old,
  • currently studying in an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) or have graduated from an IHL for not more than 3 years,
  • have not been funded under the AEP before.
