WISE is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to contribute to a Southeast Asia that is equitable and sustainable for all. Active in Singapore, Indonesia, and Cambodia, we act to protect the environment, improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions, upskill children and youth, and support better lives for migrant workers. In Singapore, we focus on addressing environmental and migrant worker issues, through behaviour change, capacity building, and research.
The Communications Intern will support the day-to-day running of the Branding, Public Engagement, Networks, and Partnerships teams to engage the public, networks, and partners.
Manage the general emails, Hubspot CRM database, and social media platforms
Create content and templates for WISE’s newsletter, website, social media, documents, and other communications materials
Organise the translation of materials to/from Indonesian and Khmer
Compile, track and analyse website, social media, and newsletter analytics, and recommend how WISE can improve its reach and engagement
Research networking opportunities and potential partners
Develop partnership, outreach, and fundraising strategies
As this internship is under the Youth Corps Community Internship (YCCI), applicants must be:
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident;
Between 17 and 35 years old, inclusive;
Current student/ undergraduate from ITE, Polytechnics, Autonomous Universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private education institutions and overseas institutions);
Available for a full-time internship of a duration between five months and six months within the period of 7 Mar 2022 – 30 Sep 2022;
Be nominated by the school or manager/ co-worker;
Has not been funded under the YCCI before.
