Woopa Travels Pte Ltd – Sales and Operations Intern

Roles and responsibilities

• Involve in direct tour operations such as being facilitator, host and admin in both physical and virtual tours
• Represent the company and interact with the audience in a professional and presentable manner
• Customer service - handling of tour enquiries and bookings
• Assist in purchasing logistical items and ensuring a smooth tour
• Assist in lead generation - drive new leads for our products
• Assist in product development
• Coordinate pre and post tour work, which include planning of tour logistics, risk management and collection of customer feedback
• Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews (e.g. TripAdvisor, Facebook, Google+)

Learning outcomes and objectives

• Gain industry knowledge and deeper understanding of tour operations & company processes
• Competency in tour facilitation, tour management and effective team communication
• Technical knowledge on monitoring, tracking and report of online feedbacks & reviews
• Ability to address sales and tour related enquires

Requirements

• Current students studying diploma in tourism and hospitality is preferred
• Visually presentable and speaks in a pleasant manner
• Working experience in tourism-related industry is a plus
• Comfortable being on screen and hosting virtual tours
• Event hosting experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
