At Write Edge, we specialise in providing high-quality English and Writing tuition classes for Primary and Secondary school students in Singapore.

The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.

From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 7 physical branches,1 online arm called WELearn and also offer online classes to students in Malaysia.

Job Description

We are looking for like-minded individuals - people who are passionate, disciplined and focused - to join our mission to become Singapore's leading English and Writing Specialist. Are you a driven, resourceful, committed, creative and independent individual? Join us for a fruitful and hands-on experience! The Customer Service and Operations team is in charge of working with our Customers to reach its goals for the Singapore market. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Operations

  • Ensure Smooth Operations at Branch
  • Support to find last minute relief for teachers and front desks
  • Housekeeping
  • Stocks & pantry supplies
  • Ensure transition is smooth
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Printing schedule/ putting up notices

2. Customer Service

  • Provide Quality Customer Service at Branch
  • Pitch our products to potential customers
  • Answer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone, emails and social media
  • New parents: Enquiries / Walk ins
  • Sharing of curriculum
  • On-boarding new students (Direct/ coordinate students into the correct class / timings)
  • Bridge between teachers & parents
  • Arrange / coordinate make up
  • Follow up on withdrawals and complaints

Requirements: 

Skills

  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and technology in general
  • Able to adapt to a fast paced and changing work environment
  • Able to react and to solve problems efficiently & effectively
  • Communicate in verbal and written English proficiently
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Meticulous and able to pay high attention to details
  • Accountable and responsibility for day to day tasks

Working Hours:

  • 2 Weekends (830am - 630pm) & 2 Weekdays (1pm - 10pm)
  • No minimum experience needed
  • Prior related experience in the education industry would be an advantage
