Job Description

Human Resource & Merchandising Intern ( 6 Months Contract )


I.Mission of the Department: To ensure a high performing WWF Office with efficient operating systems, professional and skilled staff, and strong financial resources, delivering corporate responsibility partnerships and fundraising for WWF’s priority conservation activities in Singapore and the rest of the WWF’s global network. 


II.Major Functions: Assist in the recruitment and coordination for part-timers


III.Major Duties and Responsibilities: 


•Assist in recruitment of full-time and part-time coordinators, including job postings, pre-screening and interviewing of applicants

•Assist in on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including drafting and administering of contracts

•Manage schedule of full-time and part-time coordinators

•Liaise with Communications ‘team for new product listings

•Work closely with counterpart for stock purchases (replenish stock)

•Handle all re-orders for merchandise, deliveries and ad hoc logistics arrangements

•Co-manage external warehouse storage space with Admin, and to carry out in house inventory stock take for ASM's goods. 

•Performs other appropriate duties upon request by the HR Department

•Liaise with internal departments and vendors for the creation of new merchandise


IV.Profile:


Required Qualifications   


•Undergraduate students/ Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in business management or other related field


Required Skills and Competencies 


•Able to prioritise and operate under tight deadlines

•Good coordination and multi-tasking skills

•Good communication skills, with spoken and written fluency in English  

•Adheres to WWF’s values, which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging

Internal -  All departments in the organisation and within the WWF network

External – With external vendors
