Position title: PR Intern
Reports to: Senior Manager, Content & Engagement
Duration: January 2020 – June 2020
Major Functions
The public relations intern will support the WWF communications team in Singapore. The intern will assist in the day-to-day media management and content tasks across offline and online channels. Strong writing skills in English is essential. This person should also be articulate, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at a time.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain media contact database.
- Pitch and facilitate media opportunities around sustainability and conservation issues.
- Help in the organisation of media events such as lunches, trips and briefings.
- Assist in content creation for WWF’s campaign, corporate and community initiatives.
- Provide onsite support for WWF campaigns and outreach events in Singapore.
Requirements:
- Energetic, detail-oriented and a multitasker.
- Good communications and writing skills.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of situations and with people.
