As one of WWF’s international hubs, the WWF-Singapore office supports a global network spanning over 100 countries. We help protect Singapore’s essential needs through the actions of individuals, businesses and governments in the region. To meet key conservation goals, we address issues such as deforestation, haze pollution, food security, sustainable consumption and illegal wildlife trade.
Major Functions:
The editorial intern will support the WWF content team in Singapore. Working closely with the editorial team, the intern will assist in the process of identifying conservation and programme stories, curating primary information and contributing to creative outputs such as writing articles and producing videos.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Create engaging and web-friendly content
- Maintain and upload existing articles on web pages, including updating, image curation and formatting.
- Assist with project management of content initiatives and conservation projects
- Support the content team’s communications strategy in translating stories across various platforms, from emails to articles and videos.
Requirements:
- Energetic, detail-oriented and a multitasker.
- Good communications and writing skills.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of situations and with people.
- Creative eye with ability to translate complex concepts into relatable content
