Job Description

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking an intern to join the corporate finance team in Singapore.

Internship period: June – December 2024

The Position
The intern will provide day-to-day support to the Asia Pacific (APAC) finance team and will be responsible for a multitude of responsibilities which include accounts receivable, account payable, and auditing:

  • Ensure that the invoices are correctly billed
  • Perform data entry of all received and approved invoices as per internal process
  • Prepare monthly accrual and ensure that all accruals should be supported with documentation
  • Perform check on all expense claims reports, ensuring that all expenses are properly supported, properly authorized and are in accordance with the company's policy and procedure
  • File all invoices and expenses claim on a timely manner
  • Coordinate and assist the global team and auditors with APAC audit
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A great team player who is meticulous and well-organized with great attention to detail
  • A strong sense of responsibility and initiative and able to take directions
  • Display a positive attitude to learn with an enthusiasm to excel
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
