The intern is responsible for providing day-to-day support to assist the Commercial team with the implementation of Brand, PR & Communications and Digital Marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Brand, PR & Communications
- Maintain an updated mailing list and database of hotel franchisees, owners and internal staff
- Consolidate, draft and distribute content for internal communications
- Collating, summarizing and loading of content into email marketing platforms (Mailchimp/Salesforce), and manage the revamp of existing internal communications templates.
- Assist in proofreading and editing materials across all PR projects
- Consolidate and PR assets for media distribution with internal teams, hotels and partners
- Assist in brand refresh projects, preparing communications, preparing brand assets and materials and updating the brand asset library
- Support the team in reviewing and preparing copy for all brand and PR content projects and coordinate translations with the translation house or copywriters.
- Assist in developing impactful stories across all marketing and communications activities including print ad campaigns, advertorials and press releases
- Work closely with PR or media agency to coordinate KOL and media stays
- Consolidate and update regional company statistics for press-use
Digital Marketing
- Groundwork to audit 150 hotels content on brand.com – include hotel images, room description and other content within brand. com
- Online SEM and Location Audit of all 150 hotels
- Consolidate submissions on Digital Checklist updates from all 150 hotels
- Inventory availability on brand. com
- Hotel Vanity sites audit
- Assist in auditing the brand compliant of all SEAPR hotels social media channels
- Support Digital Manager in development of Digital 101 training materials
Criteria
- Effective communicator
- Strong writing skills in English is a must
- Proficiency in Chinese; might be involved in translation work
- Strong knowledge of utilizing survey platforms
- Working knowledge of MS Office Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong sense of design and attention to details
