Job Description

Retail Sales Intern

About Us: Aire is a modern consumer brand with a mission to redefine aging by providing innovative and superior products for seniors. Our flagship product, Aire Adult Incontinence Wear, has gained popularity among customers, consumers, and healthcare professionals. As we embark on an ambitious journey for 2024, we are seeking a Field Sales Intern to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Field Sales Intern at Aire, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy by focusing on outlet visits, in-store merchandising, building relationships with outlets and warehouses, and enhancing your commercial acumen. This internship is an exciting opportunity that can convert to a full-time position, and you will receive hands-on mentorship from our founding team, who bring extensive experience from blue-chip MNCs like Meta, Kraft Heinz, and Diageo.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outlet Visits: Execute a robust outlet visit plan to build and maintain relationships with retailers, ensuring optimal product visibility and availability.

  2. Merchandising: Implement effective in-store merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and enhance the overall customer experience.

  3. Liaison with Outlets and Warehouse: Work closely with outlets and warehouse personnel to streamline distribution processes, address any issues promptly, and ensure timely product deliveries.

  4. Commercial Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, particularly in the senior care space. Contribute insights and ideas to enhance sales strategies and market positioning.

  5. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outlet visits, sales data, and other relevant information. Provide regular updates to the sales team and management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales for an FMCG company is essential.
  • Passion for the senior care space and a genuine interest in contributing to the well-being of seniors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and evolving startup environment.
