Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Marketing intern who is lively and outspoken, loves to meet new people and loves maintaining relationships with stakeholders. In this role, you will be working with the Founder and Sales Lead, learning how the best to present our brands in the offline sector and learning the ropes of the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry. This will be a 3-6 month internship which will then be converted to a full time position.

Scope of the role includes:

1) Visual Merchandising: propose and recommend eye-catching product displays at retail stores to highlight the product's strength and promote the image of the Company through posters, shelf strips, wobblers and others and execution in-stores

2) Promotion Evaluation and Execution: Make use of data and analysis of promotion investment effectiveness to optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers; monitoring, proposing and implementation/ execution of promotions and activations based on most optimal promotional mix strategies with buyers, customers and key persons

3) Inventory Management: Monitor store and internal inventories and ensure no out of stocks situations

4) Perfect Store Execution: Work, communicate and maintaining relationships with buyers and key point of contacts to ensure that stores and shelves are stocked and maintained with the right types and quantities of products. Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in stores when required and aligning POSMs with buyers, stores and set up in accordance in-store requirements.

5) New Product Launches: Utilizing the 4P to conceptualize and recommend launch plan for intended new products.

Required Skills and Requirements:

1) Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident

2) NITEC/Higher NITEC, Polytechnic or above

3) Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service

4) Outgoing character, loves to meet new people, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, yet team oriented—must have a collaborative working style.

5) Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to meet all deadlines under pressure and react to unexpected schedule changes.

6) Open minded with a passion for continuous improvement and challenges.

7) Possess valid driver's license is a bonus
