Yak is an optometry startup business to provide affordable quality frames and lenses plus decent eye care exams at unbeatable prices.
Yak Visioncare focuses on customer-oriented vision care and eye health services in its network of optical shops at various locations in Singapore. At Yak, our belief is that good eyesight goes hand in hand with good eye health.
Through our partnerships with vendors including Essilor, several core options such as - UV / blue light filtering, high index lenses, high astigmatism stock lenses - will be provided to customers as a standard feature at no additional cost.
Above and beyond that, we offer eye health examinations which can flag out eye problems such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. All of that at a cost even lower than most of what other shops would charge for just a simple pair of glasses.
Yak is developing several strategic marketing initiatives including brand, corporate and digital marketing leveraging on different platforms. We are keen to work with business, marketing or mass comm undergrads who can join the team, provide fresh ideas and assist with the various implementations.
Main work scope:
- Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral
- Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
- Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
- Developing tools and methods for collecting data such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires-
- Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns- Perform market analysis and research on competition
