Working days: 5 days

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities 

The candidate will be responsible for handling and execution of operations related to Food and Beverage logistics with focus on customer service and freight operations of all activities including air, sea and road freight, import and export services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle jobs covering air, sea, road – export, import, cross-trade and transshipment. 
  •  Interact with clients on the phone and email in a professional manner. 
  •  Meet all clients' requirements and exceed expectations, upholding our strong reputation; 
  •  Ensure compliance with Company's corporate protocol. 
  • To liaise with carriers and co-loaders for rates for seafreight shipments and airfreight agent for airfreight rates; 
  • To create job files in CW1, prepare shipping documentations (B/L and AWB), timely billings and closing of job files; 
  • Verifying of vendors invoices pertaining to shipments.
  • Take full ownership of all operational logistics requirements from booking/ pre-alert, PO
  •  Ensure proper cargo handling, shipping documentation, expediting, and timely alerts to agents, customers, and contractors. 
  • To prepare, suggest and maintain customer Standard Operation Procedures. 
  • To ensure timely billings from vendors and verification of supplier invoices and jobs costing. 
  • To achieve and improve KPI’s set for the department. 
  • Customer visits when necessary. 
  • Other function as appointed.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of logistics experience.
