The role requires the candidate to have prior sales and/or account management experience in IT consulting and to utilize this experience and skill set in expanding the company's reach and increase its market share in the region.

As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a Business Development Candidate for Singapore office. You will work as part of the Regional Sales and Recruiting teams and primarily be required to handle sales of Outsourced IT Professional Services covering very diverse IT skills to large clients.

Job Description
  • Responsible to Open New Accounts, Account Management, and hands-on support for the Recruitment process.
  • Must possess the capability to deal with Clients and Candidates at all levels.
  • Managing Sales Pipeline and Candidate/Client Data in an organized and structured format via tools available, initially in the YTSPL’s CRM application;
  • Manage/expand a client portfolio and be able to deliver monthly billing targets through pre-defined activity levels;
  • Generate leads via various means and engage in client meetings to foster deeper relationships;
  • Work efficiently and effectively on a daily basis to achieve maximum results;
  • Analyse market strategies, deal requirements, propose potential business deals.
  • Develop sales strategies and market value positions and sell YASH portfolio of IT services & solutions across potential customers in the region.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts;
  • Build excellent rapport and develop long-term relationships with clients;
  • Help to define and implement a business plan and sales strategy for YASH Technologies in APAC;
  • Creating and managing a database of potential candidates and existing placements – this will initially be contained in the YTSPL’s CRM system;
  • Whenever possible, ensure our contractors and employees on full-time placements are fully utilized with no gaps between engagements;
  • Whenever possible, ensure our project teams are at least 70% utilized;
  • Networking – meeting prospective clients, lead sources and partners with the aim of expanding market share;
  • Lead generation – identifying opportunities within our chosen target markets;
  • Candidate generation – identifying candidates within our chosen target markets;
  • Managing the sales cycle, ensuring all milestones are met and all proposals are well written and clear in their detail;
  • Provide professional advice to both clients and candidates on the latest market and industries' trends.
  • Attend relevant tech events, webinars and seminars to ensure market knowledge is up to
  • date.
  • Act as the employer branding champions to represent the company's culture in a meaningful way.
  • Ensure a positive client and candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • You will be reporting to the Vice President to ensure all sales activity and sales targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Recognized University Degree/Diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in Staffing/Staff Augmentation.
  • Sales-oriented with a proven track record and achievement in B2B sales.
  • Possesses financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A highly self-motivated and independent initiator with excellent interpersonal skills.
