Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • You will support the Finance Manager in managing the Association’s full spectrum of finance functions. You must ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for timely monthly accounts closing. 
  • Involved in the below accounting functions:
    • Accounts Payable Processing.
    • Maintenance of records of accounting transactions.
    • Ensure adherence to Association’s procurement procedures.
    • Analysis of cost variances. 
    • Assists in the preparation of financial and operating reports including balance sheet schedules (prepayment and staff advances)
    • Assist in cash and investment accounting and management.
    • Assist in the preparation of budget reports to reflect costs and spending and provide financial information for internal and external management.
    • Managed ad-hoc projects when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.
  • At least 2 years’ working experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Qualities: 
    • Knowledge in financial managements reporting, analysis, budgeting and cash flow management.
    • Mathematically inclined, good at interpreting facts and figures, and possess good judgement. 
    • An innovative team player that is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active, and results oriented with the determination to succeed. 
    • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
    • Experience in Navision is preferred.
