Younnikly – Backend Developer Intern

Are you interested to be part of a cross-functional agile team to develop high performing web applications?

We are a stealth mode start-up in the HRTech space. We are looking for a responsible and reliable backend software engineering intern who can help us to develop and maintain our tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical architecture and underlying infrastructure for the product, maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant systems. 
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, writing clean code to develop functional web applications and troubleshoot and debug code.
• Collaborate with frontend developer to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Design and maintain databases and work on scalable systems.

Requirements

• Hands on experience in Python and databases (PostgresSQL, Redis)
• Knowledge of Django, Flask or any other MVC framework and its best practices
• Knowledge of APIs (REST), messages queues, microservices and Docker is a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills skills.
• Possesses drive and initiative to get things done.
• Prior internships in start-ups is a plus.
