Job Description

As a Risk and Learning Intern, you will analyse data to assess risks, monitor Credit and Market risks, and generate key reports. You will also support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives by developing engaging training materials such as videos and applications to enhance risk awareness and learning outcomes. Collaborating with the ERM team, you will refine content, propose innovative training solutions, and leverage programming skills (e.g. Python) for risk analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data to better understand potential risk concerns and outcomes of decisions, taking into account internal and external factors.
  • Monitor risks including Credit Risk, Market Risk and other risks.
  • Run and produce risk-related reports including Position Reports, Credit Limit Reports, Portfolio Concentration Report, etc.
  • Assist in running Enterprise Risk Management related activities and initiatives.
  • Preferably proficient in programming languages, e.g. Python
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management Team to identify learning needs and create tailored content.
  • Develop, forge and maintain compelling and impactful learning materials.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of training material to boost learning outcomes.
  • Remain abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance training delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and interpret data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python is a plus.
  • Experience with video and audio editing software (e.g. CapCut, Audacity) is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging training materials and learning content.
  • Knowledge of e-learning platforms or training applications is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
