Zen Teh Studios is a creative hub founded by contemporary artist Zen Teh, dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, nature, and environmental sustainability. Through a variety of mediums, including photography, installations, and mixed media, the studio fosters innovative artistic practices that raise awareness about ecological issues and inspire a deeper connection with nature. Zen Teh Studios collaborates with like-minded artists, communities, and institutions to promote a holistic approach to environmental conservation through the lens of contemporary art.
Zen has been consistently showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Singapore and the region, including National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art Museum (SAM) and ArtScience Museum, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan and China and invited as a guest speaker at regional and international environmental conferences such as UNESCO-UNITWIN 2021, ASEAN Powershift 2015 and Hanoi Innovation Week 2016 on Sustainability. Her works have been acquired by the SAM collection and numerous private collections in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Singapore.
In 2021, Zen was conferred the Young Artist Award by The National Arts Council, Singapore’s highest accolade for artists under the age of 35. Teh is a Singaporean representing artist for the upcoming Thailand Biennale 2023. She is also the current Singaporean representing artist-in-residence at the International Studio Programme at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Manage and create content for the studio's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Develop and implement social media strategies to grow online presence and engagement.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns that align with the studio’s values and current projects.
Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.
Track and analyze social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
Assist in creating marketing materials and content (photos, videos, graphics) to promote upcoming exhibitions, workshops, and art pieces.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends and suggest new ways to attract followers and increase engagement.
Requirements:
Min Diploma/Degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
Experience with social media platforms and an understanding of content creation.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
