You will learn and experience how it is like to work in a small business as a social media marketing executive.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook for a start
- LinkedIn and Youtube as you progress to be an effective social media marketer
- Copywriting and drafting of social media posts
- Scheduling and posting social media posts
- Simple editing of photos and videos
- Take event photos and videos for marketing purposes
- Create and improving a website
You are expected to:
- Have prompt communication
- Take the initiative
- Have your views (we want a thinker, a initiator, not just a doer)
- Do independent learning of job technicalities
- Be a motivated, independent and driven individual
You will work report to an experienced social media marketer to learn the ropes of "marketing for a purpose".
Your job will be focused on social media marketing - no other "saigang" work unless agreed upon.
You will only be required to work 8 hours weekly but is expected to have prompt communications with your manager.
Timing of work can be flexible according to your schedule; consistency of work and reporting is expected.
You are also required to have a meeting with your manager (in-person) at least once every three weeks.
You can expect to be given opportunities to develop your skills or exposure to other aspects of the events business.
